Unknown gunmen attack Goronyo market in Sokoto

 


Goronyo market in Sokoto state, have been attacked by Bokoharam bandit on Sunday night. 

According to the report received by the Drizzlersnews correspondent, who said that the market is situated at Goronyo local government area, at the Eastern district of Sokoto state. 



He disclosed that it is the third time Sokoto state have been attacked by the bandits and from the situation report, they bandits shot sporadically, and alot of death causalities were recorded that night, but the number is yet known.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
