Federal government declare Tuesday a public holiday

 

Federal government, through the minister of interior Rauf Aregbesola announced to the general public, that Tuesday

19TH of October 2021, is set aside as a public holiday, to enable the Muslim faithfuls to celebrate the birth of prophet Muhammad, which is known as Eid-ul-Mawild.

Mbaitoli Youths protest at Nwaorieubi over unlawful plans to impeach Imo deputy Governor

The recent lobbying saga looming in the Imo state house of assembly over the unlawful plans to impeach the Imo state deputy governor his excellency Prince Eze Madumere have erupted youths of Mbaitoli local government area to embark on a mass protest demonstration at Nwaorieubi which led to the destruction of the billboard poster advert bearing the face of Imo state governor his excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha at the newly built Nwaorieubi general hospital and informing the governor that it is a democratic government impeaching the deputy governor without no justification is unacceptable as the youths appealed to the Imo state house of assembly speaker Rt.honorable (Dr) Acho Ihim  and other house members to step down the impeachment motion.
