President Muhammadu Buhari preach peace on Eid-ul-Maulud

 

President Muhammadu Buhari have congratulated all Muslim faithfuls in Nigeria and round for the celebration of the Maulud -Un-Nabiyy.

According to the report received by the Drizzlersnews correspondent, Buhari said " I am delighted to send greetings of peace, unity and goodwill messages to the

Muslim Ummah, fellow citizens and Muslims all over the world, as we observe the 2021 Eid -ul-Maulud, which is the birth of holy prophet muhammad, we urge all Muslim followers to work in harmony, in accordance to teaching of Muhammad and i urge all of you to live in peace, as well strive to forgive each other, then concluded by asking the citizens to cooperate, with security personnel's, as the work towards protection of our lives and properties.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
