Categorisation of IPOB As A Terrorist Organisation Is Unconstitutional – Saraki


 Senate President Bukola Saraki on Monday faulted the declaration by the Nigerian military, that the Indigenous People of Biafra is a terrorist organisation and which led the South-East Governors to place ban on the group’s activities. 
The senate president went further to say that the categorisation of the group as a terrorist organisation by the Nigerian military is unconstitutional and believe that initiating the right proceedings by the president will go a long way in demonstrating to the world at large that Nigeria is a country that operates under the laid down rules and the National Assembly will investigate the crisis in the South East asked all Nigerians to join in finding the right solutions to the crisis rather than worsening it.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
