Catholic priest murdered in Imo state.

Reverend Father Onunkwo Cyriacus was on Friday morning kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Orlu Local Government Area in Imo state, while planning for the father's burial.
According to the police investigation team ,his corpse  was found at Omuma in Oru East Local Government Area in Imo state and his car which he was using on that faithful day was intact as nothing was removed, no gunshot or stab wounds was discovered on his body, he may have been strangled.
No suspect have been arrested and investigation is still on

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
