Six Northern states Governors visit Abia state

The Abia state Governor His Excellency Okezie Ikpeazu have received six Northern states Governors who paid him a solidarity visit in his office and currently in a meeting with them. 
Governors who made that made the visit include  Governor Aminu Masari of Katsina State, Governor Atiku Bello of Kebbi State, Simon Lalong of Plateau State,  Abubakar Sani of Niger State, Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
