Owelle Rochas Okorocha have declared that Imo state is an APC state and 2019  beyond is his dream of the future. 
5 less privilege Children from 55 different African countries will benefit from his scholarship scheme and concluded that demolition of Eke-Ukwu Owerri is the best thing that ever happened for the interest of the state and so many other markets will be demolished soon due the on going Urban Renewal in Imo state. 
1,000 piece of Imo taxis have been provided to replace tricycle (keke), building of 305 schools and given of free education from the tertiary institutions to primary schools both even outside Imo state, 27 Hospitals in the 27 Local Government Area of Imo state, 305 young Entrepreneur millionaires in Imo state, Agricultural scheme, Imo state standard shoe, Imo state palm plantation, Constructions all Road networks in Imo state and Urban renewal, payment of pensioners and civil servants up-till date.
Thank Imolites for their good will messages sent to him during his 55 years birth day more especially his family for their love the first lady of Imo state Nneoma Nkechi Okorocha for building 200 houses both in Imo state as well outside Imo state for the widows and said he wants his name to be written in the history book of Nigeria not only as the best Governor encouraged people to always pray for the less privileged.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
