21,084 Police Officers Deploy for Anambra Election



On Tuesday Inspector General of Police Ibrahim Idris in his press briefing in Abuja said police have identified some local government areas in Anambra state, which is the strongholds of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and red marked Ihiala Local Government Area.   
Then sending a Warning signal to Nnamdi Kanu and other youths of Nigeria saying no act of indiscipline will be condoned during the election and no group under any guise will be allowed to disrupt or cause violence any body or groups found culpable would be dealt with according to the constitution of Nigeria.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
