A truck Crushed Three Persons At Lokoja

A truck loaded with cement has killed three persons and injured five in the Kogi State capital Lokoja. 
According to an eye witness report confirmed that a female student of Kogi State Polytechnic was involved in the accident and the accident was caused by a brake failure the truck lost control and rammed into a tipper and tricycle, causing gridlock along the NATACO junction in  the Lokoja, Abuja Express road.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
