More heads to roll at Douglas Road in Owerri -Rochas

The Executive Governor of Imo state His Excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha has been very adamant to the cries of poor Imolites over the on going demolition of Douglas Road in Owerri and Eke- Ukwu Owerri Market. 
Owelle Rochas Okorocha have maintained that he is doing a remark land map of urban renewal in Owerri that which history cannot forget even in a land slide, Wednesday last week on the 6th of September 2017, Rochas took a four feet march at Douglas Road in Owerri which plunged in the private residential  properties building people and has been marked for demolition this week.   
The new slang has changed from my people, my people Rochas not our Governor.

Nkotonko an Igbo Nollywood drama music comedy actors Emeka Ngannori  (Omalicha) and Shadon Onukaogu as well known as Akuebe were spotted at Bongo square in Owerri with other actors and actresses participating in a movie audition. Emeka asked their fans to keep supporting them and the should expect more new movies from them soon Nkotonko reloaded will be released. but the issue of Nkotonko been involved in rituals killings or armed robbery which was seen on the social media they are all false information to tarnish the personality and Image of the actor in the society.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
