President Buhari arrives at New York



Nigerian President His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari arrived New York at exactly 7:00 PM Nigerian time, he was received at JF Kennedy Airport by Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, and Tijjani Bande the Permanent Representative of Nigeria to the United Nation.
According to the special adviser on media and publicity Femi Adesina  said he was accompanied to UN General Assembly meeting in New York by Governor of Zamfara State, Ebonyi State and Ondo State, in the first eight months of the year, the President was indisposed and the fact that he is present to attend the 72nd session of the United Nation General Assembly meeting is a big achievement for Nigerians.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
