One of the survivors of gun shot at Eke-Ukwu Owerri Market demoilition

Ebube Agu was the former youth president of Amawom kindred in Owerri n'ichi-ise autonomous community in Owerri Municipal Local Government Area of Imo state. 

He was shot on his thigh by Ohaji boys who were with guns sent by the Imo state Governor His Excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha on the 26th of August, 2017 during the demolition of Eke-Ukwu Owerri ancient market and he is one of the survivors of the gun shot. 

During the declaration of one week mourning for those who lost their lives during the demolition of Eke-Ukwu Owerri Market saga, by Owerri zone peoples Assembly forum at Ugwu Ekwema Arena.  

Ebuebe Agu said that what he is suffering today for the indigenes of Owerri n'ichi-ise God knew about it and it is a call of sacrifice used the opportunity to thank God for his life, so called on all other Owerri zone brothers not to betray their brothers over political interest rather they should join in the struggle but concluded by saying that Owerri people have no problem with any security agency or military but hope of the common man is God of justice and the court verdict is final no building will be erected  inside the market and he knew Rochas at Plateau state by 1981 before he became a Governor.
