Police parades five suspected killers of Fr. Onunkwo Cyriacus

According to the Imo state Commissioner of Police Ezike Okey have confirmed the report about the kidnap of catholic priest Rev.Fr. Onunkwo Cyriacus at Omuma in Oru East Local Government Area in Imo state, which led to the death of the priest and five suspects have been arrested.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
