Abia Warriors goalkeeper Charles Tambe rushed to UCH with blood

Abia Warriors goal keeper Charles Tambe was attacked at Apata area in Ibadan Oyo state, were he resides with his family, due to the suspended league football matches over the corona virus pandemic detected in Nigeria. 

According to the report received by the Nigerian premier league club side, Abia Warriors sports director Mr.Ngwaogwu Patrick confirmed the incident through the clubs twitter account he said " The Cameroonian international Charles Tambe was shot by armed robbers, they went away with his wrist watch and phones, while he was doing his regular physical fitness exercise by 7.00 am.     He was rushed to Ibadan university teaching hospital (UCH) where he is receiving treatment. 

Charles the shot stopper formerly played for two premier league club sides Shooting stars and Lobi stars football club.
