Hon.Philip Ejiogu distributes relief materials in Owerri North L.G.A


Following the recent COVID-19 pandemic out break in Nigeria and the Imo State Government, ordered that people should stay at home, therefore the Imo State
house of assembly member representing Owerri North State Constituency, Hon. Philip Ejiogu and his team will on Saturday 4th of April 2020, kick off the COVID-19 campaign awareness and distributions of sanitizers, fliers as a guide to avoid the spread corona virus across the 12 wards in Owerri North local government area.


Other notable relief materials to be distributed include rice, indomie, soaps and other items to indigent men, women across the 22 communities in Owerri North local government area, on Monday 6th of April 2020.

This is indeed stringent and tactical measures taking by the energetic and erudite member of the 9th Assembly in his bid to curb starvation and safeguard his constituents against the frightful COVID-19 pandemic virus.

The relief materials procured by the house member is tailored to ameliorate, strengthen and assist some indigent women and poor families within Owerri North constituency to enable them to stay at home for a stipulated period of time as the fight against the COVID-19 progress.

The Philip Ejiogu Team hereby advice members of the public to stay home, while the campaign crew deliver the materials at their door step.

The team is strategizing the best way to share the relief materials from next week to avoid over crowding and maintaining a social distance. 
The speaker of Imo state house of assembly Chiji Collins, during their plenary ordered honorable Philip Ejiogu to observe a 14 day's isolation after his trip from London.
