Six buildings were destroyed by a disastrous explosion at Auchi


An explosion occurred early in the morning at Dumez street off Benin Auchi road Benin city. 

 According to the report received from the Edo state  Commissioner of police Lawal Jimeta said six buildings were affected by the impact of the explosion, but investigation is been carried out to know the cause of the explosion in Edo state.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
