Minister of humanitarian affairs disburse #10,000 at Iho ward

The minister of humanitarian affairs and disaster management Hajia Sadiya Umar Farouq flagged off the disbursement of social welfare fund, approved by the Federal Government of Nigeria at Iho ward in Ikeduru local government area in Imo state, to relief the sufferings of poor citizens of Nigeria over the corona virus pandemic crisis.  Which made the president Muhammadu Buhari to shut down the country and ordered that everybody should remain at home until the virus subsides. 

The beneficiaries were one hundred and twenty one in number, they were given the sum of ten thousand Naira each, under the supervision of the Deputy Governor of Imo state Prof.Placid Njoku and Minister of Education state Emeka Nwajiuba. 

Hajia Sadiya Umar Farouq charged the beneficiaries to use the money and take care of their families, during this COVID-19 pandemic crisis era, as the Deputy Governor thanked the Federal Government for their good gesture to take care of the vulnerable in the state and promise that the funds get them.
