Man of God raped epileptic girl brought to church for deliverance



A 16 years old epileptic secondary school student, who is epileptic was brought to Holy Ghost Mission church Owo,Ondo state, for deliverance over her illness.  But was allegedly raped by the clergyman known as pastor Peter Alatake who is the general overseer of the church.  

 The incident happened between 15th to 20th of April, leaving her with serious injuries on her vagina and anus. But medical test  have been conducted at Medical Centre, Owo, where it was confirmed that she sustained injuries due to forceful penetration  and the clergyman have been arrested and arraigned at Owo magistrate court.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
