Dr.Aguwa Christogonus Osuagwu medical case discovered



Imo state government sealed the Fancy hotel at Umuguma,Owerri west local government area in Imo state, two weeks ago and gave an order that all staffs with their guests inside the hotel, should be quarantined for two weeks, based on tips given that the owner of the hotel  Dr.Christogonus Aguwa Osuagwu visited the place, when he came back from South Africa, which raised fears that he might have been infected by corona virus, as speculated that led to his death. 

The commissioner for information and strategy Declan Emelumba advised the general public not to be misinformed by detractors because a complex test have been conducted on late Aguwa's health status, it was discovered that he had a lungs failure and complex heart condition because of a gun shot injury sustained on his chest by 2012 and not COVID-19.    
All his family members that have close contact with him including his driver all tested negative to corona virus pandemic, but all the guests and staffs quarantined in the fancy hotel  none of them manifested any symptoms of the virus and they have been released as the state government gave them the sum of ten thousand Naira each (#10,000.00) to support their transport fare to their various homes and will be monitored by signed doctors. 
Chairman Imo state hoteliers association Chima Chukwunyere thanked the government for their support. .

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
