Dirty gutter water used to wash coke, eva bottles at Ikenegbu

A recycle trash picker was seen at entrance gate of Ikenegbu girl's secondary school Owerri, on Monday 8TH of June 2020, washing empty plastic coke,eva, mangero bottles in a contaminated sewage drainage water system linked to other gutter in town and people always urinate there and there is no public toilet or mobile toilet in Ikenegbu housing estate including the entire Owerri town excepts hotels or restaurants, but you are only allowed to use their facilities when you patronize them. 

 People should beware that it is a health hazard in their lives because most of this bottles recycled and are used to fill up tiger nut juice or zobo  which people put in their mouth and not kerosene.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
