Fans invade the football pitch between umuakuru vs rising stars

A friendly match between umuakuru Emekuku versus rising stars football club, which was played on Sunday  21st of June 2020, at mount camel catholic church football field Emekuku.

According to the report received by the Drizzlersnews, from the vice chairman of umuakuru youth Amandi Ebere, who play at the central defense position, said the first half of the game was a goalless draw, but in the second half it was still a goalless draw, but towards the end of the second half, the referee gave rising stars FC a penalty, although there was a contact, but it did not happen inside the 18 yard box, because it was not the right decision at that moment, which fans who were watching the game to invade the pitch because the central referee have been warned about his poor and unfair officiating to favor the rising stars team by ensuring that the win the match, but immediately he gave them the penalty some group of fans quickly invade the football pitch, while the match was on and threatened that the match should be stopped, it took more than 20 minutes to force umuakuru players out of the pitch and it was suspected that the are their soccer fans and some fans were seen fighting and insulting each other due to the high tension in the match and with the poor officiating in the match,  which sparked the whole confusion that made the match to be halt. 

The anger of umuakuru players and their fans drew alot of attention at Nkwoemeke market square as most of the players were in a cold and quite mood, but nobody was injured among the players and the were all safe according to the vice chairman of umuakuru youth. 

Will the match be replayed it is now left in the hands of the two teams to make their final decision.
