Patrick Uche nwoke assassinated at Ahaba Orodo in Mbaitoli


Imo state police command have intensified their search for the killers of Mr.Patrick Uche nwoke, who was found in the pool of his own blood, at an isolated area in Ahaba Orodo Community School.

According the report received by the Drizzlersnews, from police public relation officer SP Orlando,  confirmed during his press report that a 55 years old man, who is a native of Oboro Amurie in Isu local government area in Imo state, was murdered by an unknown high killers at Ahaba Orodo.

Orlando noted that, from the report earlier made to the station, operatives of the divisional police headquarters in Mbaitoli, moved to the isolated area around Ahaba Orodo Community School and found the Uche nwoke's corpse on the ground.

The operatives discovered that he had a deep machete cut at the back of his head, while a bicycle and bible was seen beside his corpse, their by suggesting that he must have been murdered, while going or returning from church.

Imo state commissioner of Police, have issued an to order that a full scale of investigation into the matter with a view of arresting the culprits and their mission behind the act.

Meanwhile, the corpse has been deposited in the morgue. while investigation is in progress.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
