Ubowalla youth organization inaugurate a task force committee

The president of Ubowalla youth organization Virginus Atulegwu Ude on the 13th of June 2020, at Afo-Ubo market square, inaugurated a task force committee that will be in charge of security and the monthly clean up exercise in the community, which will be done in every last Saturday of the month and Virginus confirmed that it will commence by the last Saturday of June, on the 26th of June. 

 He used the opportunity to warn the youths of Ubowalla to desist from every bad vices that will tarnish the image of the community and their family because if any of them is arrested or caught there will be no room for mercy rather the person should be ready to face the rot of the law, because an idea mind is the devil's workshop, so he encourage them to engage themselves in the skill acquisition. sports, education, farming by dedicating their lives to God, even if their no money their are individuals who are ready to sponsor them for them to learn the skill as two new persons were elected into some vacant post as the took their oath of office.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
