See the condition of road at timber and allied market at Naze

The timber and allied market is located at Aroma umu-akali Naze in Owerri -North local government area in Imo state, commonly called in Igbo language as Ogba-Osisi.

 Which was constructed by the former governor of Imo state Godwill Ikedi Ohakim. 

 It is one of the highest income internal generated revenue of Imo state government.

 But the condition and negligence of that road by Imo state government for years, have made sales of building materials impossible to access or you have no option than to go through stress in entry the market and that same road is linked to Egbu, Emii, Emekuku, Uratta, Awaka, Ihigwa as well Nekede all these road is in a very bad condition, people are calling on the Imo state governor Hope Uzodinma to salvage the situation by calling back the contractors of that road unless the are no longer seen as Imolites again and the have been paying their taxes.  People pay as high as 150 and 200 Naira for transport fare to enter the market, buildings in that area are close to collapsed because the water logged condition and everyday people's cars trapped in the logged road are left at the mercy of the mechanics. Youths in that area charge some money if you want to go through a little better road.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
