Imo teachers begs Hope Uzodinma to pay them their salaries

Nigerian union of teachers (NUT) Imo state chapter have appealed to the Imo state governor Hope Uzodinma to pay them their salaries. 

According to the report received by the Drizzlersnews, for the past five months since February - June, the have not received any salary and if anybody can read as well write it is the teacher who impact the positive knowledge into the students, which have helped them in their various careers of endeavor. 

The schools in Nigeria have remained closed due to the coronavirus pandemic for the past three months and no palliatives were given to them. 

Although the commissioner of information Kenneth Emelumba said some of them have refused to submit their bank verification number details during their verification exercise conducted in various schools, before the lock down.  

NUT remind the governor that these teachers have families and relations who are depending on them.
