Abysmal armed robbery attack occurred at Egbu

A terrifying armed robbers incident occurred by 11.00pm on the 3rd of June, 2020 at Ofe Uzo Egbu autonomous community in Owerri North local government area in Imo state. 

According to the report received by the Drizzlersnews, they armed robbers were trailed to an unknown guest in Egbu community, when an alarm was raised by the vigilantes and it is believed, that is their source of where the carry out their operations in the community. 

But it is suspected that the robbers came from Awaka and Emii axis, in Owerri-North local government area in Imo state, although since the beginning of the year 2020, the community have witnessed series of robbery incident ranging from theft of battery cars and other criminal vices, which made the community youths to carry out a jungle justice on a suspected criminal early this year, when he was caught in the criminal act. 

Drizzlersnews reporter, who visited the community for some personal reasons, was informed by an elderly person in the community that the night is usually horrible and some few youths, who were discussing about the incident spoke in a coded language, which only few persons understood it, but are natives of Egbu. 

But the elders of the community, is calling on the security agencies, traditional rulers and the vigilantes to collaborate, by carrying out a stead patrol in Egbu, for the protection of lives and properties, as well have their two eyes closed, because their are more non-indigenes and indigenes of Egbu living in the area.
