Hoodlums attacked a catholic church in Emekuku

Immaculate conception catholic parish Nkwo-emeke in Emekuku Owerri-North local government area in Imo
state, was attacked by hoodlums.

 According to the report received by the Drizzlersnews, from anonymous church workers, whose names have been withheld, said the hoodlums are stealing wires from the church premises, and soon if the security of the church is not properly beefed up, the parish priest life is at risk and likewise the entire communities of umu-akuru, umuocham, Akaolovo, Azara-Owalla, and Okwu-emeke, where the church is located.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
