Alex Iwobi Sink Brave Zambian Team

Super Eagles of Nigeria have qualified for the Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup, beating the Zambian team with a lone goal scored by Alex Iwobi in the 74th minute of the second half in Godswill Akpabio Stadium Uyo. 
Nigeria top the group B team with 13 points and the first team to secure their qualification to Russia 2018 FIFA world Cup in Africa.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
