Two Policemen, Naval Officer Paraded For Armed Robbery, Kidnap

The new Commissioner of Police Mr Ali Janga in Kogi State have paraded 20 suspected criminals arrested for various criminal offences according to his report at the Lokoja  police Headquarter  said the suspects were arrested in various location in the state.  
Among the suspects were two policemen, Corporal Suleiman Isiaka, Corporal Ibrahim James and one naval officer, Bature Habila who were arrested for kidnapping and armed robbery the have been dismissed once investigation is concluded they will face court trials so that justice will take it's course.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
