Three Pillars Candles Stolen In Holy Cross Catholic Church Aladinma - Rev.Fr. Mark Njoku

It is barely two weeks when the parish priest of Holy Cross Catholic Church Aladinma Housing Estate Owerri Rev.Fr. Mark Njoku announced about the stolen three pillar candles in the church and according Fr. Mark he said one of the pillar candles were found under the altar of the church where it is hidden then said two is still missing asking the congregation that who ever stolen the candles should endeavor to return back to avoid the wrath God.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
