Rochas Okorocha Cancel Clean Up Exercise On Saturday

The last Saturday of every month has been mapped out by Imo State Government for the clean up exercise in Imo state.
But the last Saturday in the month of September 30,2017 took a different course as the Imo state Governor His Excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha announced the cancellation of the clean up exercise due to his Biography book revealed launch and birth celebration. So many disrespected the announcement and went ahead to carry out the clean up exercise  but visitation to major streets and junctions in Owerri
Tetlow, Ikenegbu, Wetheral, Mbaise road are all filled up with refuse dumps which is a health hazard to the environment and the Independence day celebration is over  what next Owelle Rochas Okorocha ?

Nkotonko an Igbo Nollywood drama music comedy actors Emeka Ngannori  (Omalicha) and Shadon Onukaogu as well known as Akuebe were spotted at Bongo square in Owerri with other actors and actresses participating in a movie audition. Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
