Owerri In Flames Over Medical Immuzation

Imo State was on rampage over false rumor spread by an unknown persons that some military uniform personnel are going to schools immunizing students forcefully which many students are dead in Anambra state and in Imo state that they are in Ohaji Mgbema Local Government Area and so many parents went to varrious schools to draw their children for safety.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
