Police Parade Over 70 Robbery Suspects In Cross River




Police in Cross River State said tremendous achievements have been made in the state in the fight against crime and maintenance of law and order across the State.
 The State’s Commissioner of Police, Hafiz Inuwa said this while parading over 70 suspects with assorted arms and ammunition at the State CID headquarters in Calabar, the Cross River State Capital.
Suspects are facing criminal charges including, murder, armed robbery, defilement, attempted kidnapping, cult activities, and fraudulent activities on the internet among several charges.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
