Buhari Lash ECOWAS On Single Regional Currency




President Muhamadu Buhari has cautioned member countries of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) to tread carefully in pushing for a single currency in the sub-region.
 Speaking on Tuesday in Niamey, Republic of Niger, Buhari said the necessary economic fundamentals among countries continue to differ over the years, making it more difficult to pull through with the project by 2020. 
President Buhari's Special adviser on media and publicity Femi Adesina said during the meeting  president Buhari advised ECOWAS community to take into consideration lessons currently unfolding in the European Union.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
