Owerri North Viligante Group Shot Two Armed Robbers In Uratta

As early as 7.00AM Sunday morning 8th of October 2017 while people were preparing to go for their Sunday church service the Vigilante security men in Umu-Oriri  were seen carrying their double barrel guns running towards Eke-Emegbuoha market square and two young boys were caught by the security men both of them have bullet wounds on their feet according to the statement  made by an Okada rider at the Eke-Emegbuoha market square he said that they boys are cultist and they robbed a woman that Sunday morning and ran into the forest but the two boys are identified as indigence of Uratta in Owerri North Local Government Area. 
They have been handed over to the Nigerian Police Force for prosecution

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
