Suicide Bomber Attacks Mosque In Maiduguri



A male suicide bomber who disguised as a  Muslim worshippers entered the mosque while people were gathering for the morning prayers and detonated his explosives strapped on him . According to the Military Joint Task Force (CJTF) in  Maiduguri  ten persons have been confirmed dead in the attack and many injured . It happened by  0330 GMT (4.00 AM) Nigerian time and 15 kilometers away from Ajiri Yala.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
