A muslim woman tagged a Boko haram member by two ladies in Owerri

A muslim woman who was coming back from the shell camp mosque in Owerri on Friday at exactly 5.00 PM and she was spotted at Ama JK junction by Douglas road while she was trekking back to Ama -Awusa two young ladies and some other people were in same direction with her suddenly the woman screamed Ashawo one thousand naira they will die in prostitution in this Owerri and thunder will strike them to death if not for the Ramadan fast she would have shown them who she was and the two young ladies crossed over to the left hand side of Ama JK  road.   

The shouting of the muslim woman drew passer's-by attention and the asked the woman why she was laying curses on people without any good reason she pointed at those two young ladies that crossed over to the other side of the road according to her report she accused them of whispering to each other with Igbo language calling her a Boko haram terrorist and they never knew she understood as well speaks Igbo language very well and her anger was brought under control by a muslim man who she complained to and she was advised that she should forgo the matter and go home she said that those two young ladies were lucky that her children were not close they would have dealt with them and the are working at Abuja living with their families in their own various houses in Abuja she concludes.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
