EFCC are persecutors not prosecutors - Fayose






The Ekiti state Governor his excellency Ayodele Fayose have slammed the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) describing it as a body used by president Muhammadu Buhari to persecute and intimidate the  political critics of the Federal Government because no proper investigation was carried out and that is why the lost a lot of cases in the court. 




Fayose while reacting to the reason behind the frozen of his account in 2016 he said " there were allegations that his account contained part of the funds distributed by the National security adviser Colonel Dasuki under president Good Luck Ebele Jonathan's administration which he denied that the were all false information to mis guide people rather accused president Muhammadu Buhari of mismanaging funds by withdrawing the sum of One billion dollars through excess crude oil account and it is meant for the three tiers of Government which the supreme court nullified the excess crude account and all accruals goes into the Federal Government account.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
