Sen.Samuel Anyanwu and Hon.Onyewuchi Ezenwa storm in Prof Njoku's guber declaration






It was a total surprise for the political supporters of Professor Jude Njoku during the official declaration of Jude Njoku's 2019 governorship ambition at the peoples democratic party secretariat at Okigwe road in Owerri, on Saturday 5th of May 2018 as the convoy of senator Samuel Anyanwu representing Owerri senatorial zone with his counterpart honorable Francis Onyewuchi  Ezenwa representing Owerri Federal Constituency at the national assembly and peoples democratic party board of trustee member Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu arrived at the party secretariat to show their solidarity to professor Jude Njoku for his loyalty to the party and encouraged him to keep upholding his ambition because politics is not a do or die affair but the voice of the people is the voice of God so their is no rift between the political aspirants although we have same ambition whoever emerges must surely get the support of the other person and encouraged people to go and get their permanent voters card if the have not registered.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
