Imo state soccer fans goes rowdy over poor officiating in Aiteo cup

Imo state soccer fans during the match between Showing FC and Heartland FC in the Aiteo federation cup in Imo state of which an unreasonable penalty was given to Heart FC by the referee when there was no contact between the striker and the defender in the18yard box. 

Soccer fans ran into the field rowdily protesting over the poor officiating as the FA chairman of sports council Mr.Amanze Ucheegbulam and the referee were squirmed out of Dan Anyiam stadium to avoid been beating up by soccer fans it took hours for the policemen to keep the soccer fans under controlled and Heart land FC soccer fans were banned by the league management club for beating up the referee during the league match between Plateau united FC and Heart land FC but Heartland FC is at the relegation zone of Nigerian premier league table with 16 points out of 21 matches played.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
