Ndeegbeelu Awaka land feud led to the death of the youth corper in Imo state

Mr.Amadi Princewill Chukwuemeka hails from Awaka in Owerri North local government area in Imo state and a serving youth corper who went for his three weeks orientation camp at Akwa Ibom state, but according to the report received he was shot to death by a naval officer who was called by Ndeegbeelu Awaka chairman Mr.Nick Anyanwu to maintain a peace decorum between the elders of the community and the youths over a sold land feud collection (marching ground) on Saturday 26th of May 2018 at his home town Awaka which led to the revolt of Awaka youths to burn car and houses as the other Naval officers who are on check point at Owerri-Umuahia express (Awaka) flee for their lives and investigation is been carried out in other to find the culprit. 
But his body have been deposited at Holy Rosary hospital mortuary Emekuku and they youths of Awaka are calling on the Imo state governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha and other service chief security officers to intervene so that justice will prevail

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
