Miracle Igbokwe receives Imo education ambassadorial award






The winner of 2018 double wahala big brother Nigeria season 3 reality tv show Miracle Igbokwe,who hails from umuoba Uratta in Owerri North Local Government Area and was accompanied by fellow Imolite compatriot in BBN Nina,with other housemates from the western part of Nigeria Bam-Bam and Bamidele as well their parents to pay a courtesy call to the Imo state Governor his excellency Owelle Rochas Okorocha at the Imo state Government house. 



 But the Governor thank the two Imo state true worthy son Miracle and daughter Nina for their ambassadorial articulate representation in the big brother Nigeria house which has taking them to stardom in the entertainment industry and put Imo state in the map of the world with the good cultural heritage,free education program and with the urban renewal infrastructural development going on in the state. 

Owelle advised them to remain focused and they should channel their support in the free education scheme going on in Imo  from primary to tertiary institution, then promise to establish a pilot school in Imo state gave miracle a plot of land with a cash donation of two million naira and Nina a cash donation of two million.

Miracle during his speech at the Imo state International Convention Centre he thanked all the Imo youths for their votes and support but charged them to remain resilient with positive thoughts and attitude.

Nkotonko an Igbo Nollywood drama music comedy actors Emeka Ngannori  (Omalicha) and Shadon Onukaogu as well known as Akuebe were spotted at Bongo square in Owerri with other actors and actresses participating in a movie audition. Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
