Imo APC secretariat in flame of ashes



All Progressive Congress party secretariat located at Okigwe road by Imo state university junction, which a section of the complex with documents gut fire on Friday 11th of May 2018 at exactly 6.00 PM .

As police have launched investigation to unravel the mystery behind the ugly incident and It was barely 18 hours for the scheduled local government congress of APC to take place in Imo state of which since last week Saturday APC held their wards congress election there have been pressure from the aggrieved members of APC in Imo state as the committee announced that it was successful which the Imo state Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha discredited and called for total cancellation of the wards congress election since the result sheets were hijacked by some cruel coalition party members who mastermind plans to sabotage the party this led to the removal of the commissioner of police Imo state Chris Ezike and replaced by Dauski Galadanchi there have been lobbied pressure to impeach the deputy governor Prince Eze Madumere  as the local government congress have been stepped down until further notice and it was confirmed by APC Imo state chairman Hilary Eke with other executives of the party .

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
