Imo FA Aiteo Cup 2018:Akajiobi FC Challenge Heart Land FC In Aiteo Cup Final

Akajiobi FC and Heart Land FC have qualified to slog it out with each other in the 2018 final of Imo state Aiteo federation soccer tournament cup as Akajiobi FC defeated Papilo FC by 2-1 to qualify for the final which the two goals were scored by Kosisochi Ubalaka and Heart Land FC are last on the Nigerian premier league table with16 points out of 21 matches played managed to survive through a 7-6 penalty shoot out after playing a 2-2 draw with Sima FC at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
