Police arrest four suspects in possession of Imo APC ward congress election materials

The Nigerian police force public relation officer Jimoh Moshood have paraded four arrested suspects in Abuja in possession of Imo APC congress ward and local goverment election sensitive materials which the election was aborted on the 5th of May 2018. 

According to his report they were arrested in a hotel at Wuse 11 and items recovered from them include 68 APC ward congress result sheets, 6 L.G.A APC ward delegate list and 130 APC delegate nomination forms they have been charged for conspiracy, stealing, forgery and unlawful possession of election sensitive materials warned politicians to desist acts that will disrupt 2019 general election the will be charged to court soon.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
