INEC have commenced issuance of permanent voters cards (PVC) nationwide


The independent national electoral commission (INEC) have commenced the issuance of permanent voters card nationwide at the local government secretariat or any other accepted registered centre go with your temporary voters cards and collect the permanent voters card which will be used for voting in the 2019 general election in Nigeria.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
