Desire Oparanozie donate educational equipment, to her formal alma mater

 

Super Falcons and Dijon striker Desire Oparanozie, while on holiday in Nigeria, after the football season in Europe, she visited her formal secondary school students Ikenegbu girl's Owerri, where she conducted a health seminar, on general hygiene, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and donated football kits to the school, through her DO foundation. 
She encouraged the students to good ambassadors wherever the go, and humility can lead them to excel a great height in this world, she warned them to desist from crime, cult activities and other bad vices, because it will tarnish their personality images. 

Desire appealed to the students, to pay more attention on their studies, by reading their books and to be obedient to their parents, as well as their teachers.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
