Imo state contestant,won miss agriculture beauty pageant



The grande finale of miss agriculture beauty pageant, 2020/2021 season, maiden edition was held at Trans-corp hotels in Calabar.

According to the report received by the Drizzlersnews, a total of twenty one beauty queens participated in the competition, from different states.  But miss Christabel Eze, a theatre art graduate of the university of Calabar, won the miss agriculture pageantry crown, and she is 25 years old, from Imo state, while Angela Ogar emerged first runner up, as food security queen and she is 24 years old from Cross River state.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
