Politics: Muhammadu Buhari's ministerial aide, slumped at an official engagement in Bauchi

  

Ambassador Maryam Katagum,is the minister of state, for industry, trade & investment, slumped on Monday 5TH of July, while making her inaugural speech, to flag off an empowerment programme and commissioning of NAAADI office, at Bauchi state, during an official engagement and was rushed by her aide, who never allowed Maryam not to fall on the ground, and was immediately rushed to Abubakar Tafawa Balewa teaching hospital (ATBUTH) for adequate medical attention.

But her medical stability is not known yet and the Deputy Governor of Bauchi state Baba Tela was present during the official unveiling of the office of NAAADI.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
