Sports: Desire Oparanozie tends a formal apology to NFF President Amaju Pinnick,

 

Former Super Faclons captain Desire Oparanozie, have  apologized, to the Nigerian football federation president Amaju Pinnick, for embarking on a protesting, over unpaid bonus and called for an upgrade of salaries, like the Super Eagles team, after the got eliminated, from the world cup knockout stage by France, which Russia was the host in 2018. 

Since then the Falcons striker, have not been invited to the national team, for any major competition and she cried to the NFF president Amaju Pinnick, as a father and  asking him to tamper justice with mercy, by forgiven her. 

Desire made an open confession in tears, when she realized her mistakes, for not maintaining a good exemplary conduct, with her status in leadership, by having a peaceful dialogue, with the NFF, and pleaded for an extension of invitation to her, it will be executed with her best of abilities for the national assignment. 

DO as she is commonly called by hers friends and colleagues, plays for French club side Djon FCO, she is 27 years old with an energetic physique, in converting any goal scoring opportunities.  

But she has played for various in Nigeria and oversea, in her records, she has won the African women nations cup , UEFA champions  League, as well other numerous league awards and she has scored a total of 22 goals in 37 seven matches for the senior female national team.

Owu cultural festival marked at umu-Duru Ifakala in Mbaitoli L.G.A of Imo state

Owu cultural festival is been celebrated by few communities in Mbaitoli local government area of Imo state every June to August yearly only men that are of age are allowed to do the rituals of i wa ukwu na ekwe before you are allowed to participate in the dance activity and has it's own unique dance step with two legs jumping style.  It is not marked on Nkwo market day according to the report gathered no significance or special dish been prepared for the celebration in every house hold as it is in other places in Igboland where festivals are marked.
